Wise counsel-Be your own Compass

Being your own wise counsel is such an amazing feeling. For me it means i am listening to my inner wise self and using it as a compass to know my North. Inner self messages to us are known by many names Sixth sense,Intuition,Gut feeling even being psychic comes under this umbrella. Gut feeling is your own sense of whether you are feeling drawn to what is in front of you or your inner self is telling you to stay away. Decoding this feeling, sense and taking action on the message that comes through will take you on a journey of your own leading you to your personal unique North. When i am connected to my inner self it gives me a very peaceful feeling and i feel protected from within. Most importantly i don't feel alone or lonely when i am connected to my own inner self. Ask questions to your inner self/higher self and then just be aware of the thoughts that come to you,the people you meet, situations in which you find yourself in, there you will find answers to your question a sma...

Manifestation & Time...

Question is why do we feel..that manifestation of our dreams, goals, desires, wishes is taking more time (days/weeks/months/years) more than what we were mentally ready..prepared for or bargained for by wishing quicker manifestation. Is it impatience , a very human state of being or is it more? From the instant that we feel strong desire for someone or something till the time of its physical manifestation what is it that we are engaged in with thought, word & deed. Do we occupy ourselves only with worrying, wishing or counting days till our desired goal is achieved or do we try to find & occupy ourselves full time into finding our life purpose as well as being of service by asking the universe 'How can i serve'. If we keep focusing our personal energy on our desire instead of surrendering the desire to universe are we not doing more harm than good? At the same time disconnecting our inner self from the desire may not be a fulfilling experience for our heart. Maybe...

Manifestation...

There seem to be more articles & books about quickening manifestation than about patience.. It almost feels like patience as a virtue is only developed when manifestation of desires takes more time than what we were ready for..or what we were expecting. It reminds me of Arya Chanakya who planned & put in efforts for many years to see his dream fulfilled of 'Akhanda Bharat' knowing full well that it was not a matter of few months..

Breaking habit of thinking about unpleasant/pleasant experiences,situations,people...

Breaking habit of thinking about unpleasant/pleasant experiences,situations,people... Sometimes there is a particular topic or person about which we tend to think as a habit,it could be reliving old hurtful memories, drawing inferences or simply repeating the incidence in our heads thinking about it in a linear direction, thinking of doomsday scenarios & outcomes. This is the point where we should become aware that thinking about this type of topic, situation or person has become a habit we are unable to break. It's almost like an addiction instead of an addictive substance we become addicted to the unpleasant topic, person or situation. This type of addiction can also happen with people or situations about which we are extremely happy or hopeful . Breaking this habit is extremely important because otherwise the topic takes over majority of your time & energy which we can use somewhere else like for self healing or find..& work on our life purpose. Let's see h...

Writing...writing..

Felt like writing ...or rather blogging again after a long time...and remembered that long back i had created this blog account.. I have written few thoughts in my diary and was just thinking of making them into blogs or articles and then maybe sharing them with my friends. Let's see how it goes. I do seem to enjoy the process of writing. Writing whatever random thought comes to my mind or at times about a thought pattern.. At times my observations of the world outside and my interactions with it...

Penning down thoughts...

Life .... being alive... sometimes it's so difficult to understand your own circumstances. Our response to outside stimuli is our behavior...or is it our response to our own inner conflict...thoughts...i think it's the later.. when we are relaxed and peaceful inside our behavior towards outside world changes for the better. I have found that chanting helps me calm down ,it also helps me to think straight..which in turn affects my response to outside stimuli. Chanting to the 'Gohonzon' is like talking to a very good friend...who does not judge you or advise you but slowly nudges you on the right path. Sometimes there is so much inner turmoil ...conflict that i react aggressively to the environment around me..especially when i can see that erroneous thinking patterns in the society are leading to sadness for many girls/women.... I wonder how should i respond to such situations.... So much more to pen...

Brida...book by Paulo Coelho

Magus words... Judging oneself to be inferior to other people was one of the worst acts of pride he knew, because it was the most destructive way of being different...

Even Eagles need a push...

The eagle gently coaxed her offspring toward the edge of the nest. Her heart quivered with conflicting emotions as she felt their resistance to her persitent nudging."Why does the thrill of soaring have to begim with the fear of failing?" she thought. This Ageless question was still unanswered for her. As in the tradition of the species, hernest was located on the shelf of a sheer roc face.Below there was nothing but air to support the wings of each child."Is it possible that this time it will not work/" she thought.Despite her fears, the eagle knew it was time. Her parental mission was all but complete. There remained one final task..the push. the eagle drew courage from an innate wisdom.until her children discovered their wings, there was no purpose for their lives.until they learned how to saor, they would fail to understand the privilege it was to have been born an eagle. The push was the gratest gift she had to offer. It was her supreme act of love. And so one by one sh...

Blogging

Read few more blogs written by people. Came across some really good and interesting blogs. I guess blogging is not about having good writing skills , it's about expressing one self ,sharing ideas, thoughts with many a times completely unknown people. I think for a human being most important thing is sharing , may be it his/her life, ideas, thoughts. Everybody needs a sounding board or at times just somebody who will just listen without judging, advising anything. Writing seems like a good outlet just let your thoughts flow down to paper or as in blogging just type your thoughts on screen and they will remain there for any one who cares to read and comment. You feel relieved since whatever was going on in your mind system is out and plus you also get to know a new perspective if anybody comments. This is my second blog in one day. Well i am new to this world and i guess new things always excite us more.

My First Blog

Today , 23rd Feb 2008 (India), have opened my first ever blog account. Actually just happened to read blog of a friend and got interested. I do write a diary at times ,something like musings of my heart. Probably just try to understand life. Figuring out what lessons i learnt along the way as i go through life and experiencing experiences. At times life seems very happy & nice while at other times it seems like a sad story. But i have learnt one thing for sure its solely upon us to shape our life. The choices we make every day, every moment shapes our future. In fact i am enjoying the process of growing up. I really don't yearn for good old college days neither for school days. In fact working, being independent , learning new things , facing disappointments, failures and coming out of it is something i enjoy doing. Sometimes i really wonder why do we have this need to impress people is it just because we want acceptance or is there something else.Probably we want everybody to l...
