My First Blog

Today , 23rd Feb 2008 (India), have opened my first ever blog account.
Actually just happened to read blog of a friend and got interested.
I do write a diary at times ,something like musings of my heart. Probably just try to understand life.
Figuring out what lessons i learnt along the way as i go through life and experiencing experiences.
At times life seems very happy & nice while at other times it seems like a sad story.
But i have learnt one thing for sure its solely upon us to shape our life. The choices we make every day,every moment shapes our future.
In fact i am enjoying the process of growing up. I really don't yearn for good old college days neither for school days.
In fact working, being independent , learning new things , facing disappointments,failures and coming out of it is something i enjoy doing.
Sometimes i really wonder why do we have this need to impress people is it just because we want acceptance or is there something else.Probably we want everybody to like us no matter how or what we are but is it really possible.Do we like everybody we come across well i guess no i certainly don't necessarily like every person i come in contact with.But yes i have also learnt that there are always some positive qualities in every person .No person is entirely good or bad, its always a combination.
I started writing this blog with no particular subject in mind just started typing whatever came to mind.

Writing...writing..

Felt like writing ...or rather blogging again after a long time...and remembered that long back i had created this blog account.. I have written few thoughts in my diary and was just thinking of making them into blogs or articles and then maybe sharing them with my friends. Let's see how it goes. I do seem to enjoy the process of writing. Writing whatever random thought comes to my mind or at times about a thought pattern.. At times my observations of the world outside and my interactions with it...

Penning down thoughts...

Life .... being alive... sometimes it's so difficult to understand your own circumstances. Our response to outside stimuli is our behavior...or is it our response to our own inner conflict...thoughts...i think it's the later.. when we are relaxed and peaceful inside our behavior towards outside world changes for the better. I have found that chanting helps me calm down ,it also helps me to think straight..which in turn affects my response to outside stimuli. Chanting to the 'Gohonzon' is like talking to a very good friend...who does not judge you or advise you but slowly nudges you on the right path. Sometimes there is so much inner turmoil ...conflict that i react aggressively to the environment around me..especially when i can see that erroneous thinking patterns in the society are leading to sadness for many girls/women.... I wonder how should i respond to such situations.... So much more to pen...
